I'm Tired of the Emails!

I checked my e-mail today, and my Inbox had 52 unread messages! Apprerantly almost all of them where from the programming language forums telling them that a topic I'd posted in had been replied to or that I'd received a PM... how can I unsubscribe from these? Honestly it's a bit overdone don't you think?

That was activated by default when I created the forum. I am aware of the problem, but don't know how to deactivate it. You will just have to live with it until I figure it out.

Alright just try not to get it done fast. Check up on forummotion.com and see what they say. FAQs or contact the forummotionforums.forummotion.com (or something like that lol)

I wanted to change the default setting so that it doesn't do that anymore, but I asked about it on forum support, and there is no way to do that.

I'll go into your Profile, and check to make sure that you have all of the prefrences that cause the e-mails to be sent deactivated.



Edit: I changed one thing. I changed the setting, "Alert me by e-mail when someone reports a post" from yes to no. I am not sure why that setting was even available, because only admins can deal with reported posts.

hopefully the issue should be solved.

I thought you just select no to always notify me of replies.. it worked for me.

ah, well I don't like having to check that so often... maybe I should start doing it. To late now however, ton of posts on here XD
