Programming Language Community Forums Update 9/12/11
Hello all!
As you may have noticed, the speed at which I improve the PLCF is slowing. This is not because of a loss of interest as you might think (as I fix up the PLCF, I am becoming more interested in it), but rather because my educational obligations are slowing the speed at which I improve.
Today, I would like to start out with a security-related change. Most likely, you haven't seen this feature yet, because it isn't very obvious. I know that to some of you, you simply close out when you are done on the forum, but those of you who have been logging out properly, you will notice that the log out system is slightly different. Originally, clicking on the log out button would log you out without warning, and before you know it, you would be viewing the forum as a guest, but now, when you click on the log out button, you are prompted with a page that asks, "Are you sure you want to log out?" You then have to options. Yes, which will log you out, and no, which will return you to the forum's home page. This feature seems pointless, but it will help you verify that you are logged out.
