Hello David B!

It is great to talk to you again!

I would like to introduce a small change that will improve the appearance of the forum. Please welcome our new rank images! Below is a table that lists the old next to the new!

You will notice that the "Banned" rank and the "Member" rank have been removed. The ban rank was removed because it is redundant to have a rank of banned users if you already have a warning status bar that is set to "banned." The user rank was removed because unless otherwise noted, it is assumed that all of our members are "users." In addition to the removal of these to ranks, we have added a new Technical Support rank. This rank is assigned to users who help solve problems on the PLCF.

In addition to the rank, we now have a group for these users. This group doesn't have any special permissions, but it is just to categorize them, and make their usernames purple. As of this writing, nobody is a member of Tech. Support, but we will soon be adding LGForum, who was an important part of many of the features on this forum.

In addition to this, we have added a new "Thanks" button that will allow you to thank people's posts, without needing to reply with a "Thanks" message. Instead, just click the button, and a little message will appear under the post that you thanked saying that you thanked it.

Piggybacking off of the Thanks button, we have fixed the color of a Thanked post's background so that it is no longer this color.
