These tutorials seemed O.K. I watched a few of them and they seemed very nice and simple.

I too, have been looking for some tutorials on C#. Not because I want to learn it (which to a certain degree, I do), but because I want to compare it to C++, and take a look at some of the differences in the language.
P.S.: I may soon be adding a forum for C--!

I want to learn c# because unity supports it.

Re: Tutorials for c#
Do you mean that you can use Unity to create games using actual programming languages? I always thought that Unity was like a super advanced version of Alice where you drag and drop your code in. Does Unity support an other language?Beachbum111111 wrote:I want to learn c# because unity supports it.
Re: Tutorials for c#
Unity isn't programming
You use Boo/Javascript/C# in special language versions to refer to your game objects/other components in unity to add functionality to your game.
And it's nothing like Alice...

Oh, so you can't really do your game programming in Unity. As for it being nothing like Alice, I already know that. It was just the best analogy that I could come up with at the time of that writing.Nighthawk0973 wrote:Unity isn't programming

and as far as tuts are concerned. www.thenewboston.com has all the tutorials you should need. I learned Java from there, and Java is almost exactly like C#.

No dur. He's pretty much my inspiration for making video tutorials. Because I believe that there should be somebody out there to teach the things he doesn't teach.
